A Solar Flare is Expected

Hey everyone, in an effort to keep this blog updated, I’ve decided to post today :) I should hear lots of “yay”‘s right now. Although, all I hear is a resounding “yeah yeah yeah yeah!” from mister usher in the corner.

…Yeah. Anyways, here is something for you to read and enjoy. It is a poem by my cousin (Mary Catherine) that has been published on 42opus.com: A Solar Flare is Expected.

In other news, there were some hoppin times downtown last nite as a group was filming a scene where a New Orleans-style funeral procession was meandering its way down Trade St. in Winston-Salem, complete with a brass band. The band was freakin incredible, folks. It was great to have some good music to work to. I thought about making it an audio-post, but didn’t get the opportunity to do it.

I recently travelled to Scotland with my dad and brother — I should be adding some pictures from the trip to tolar.ws soon. In the meantime, you can check out some of my dad’s pics.

That’s all for now. Stay tuned for more crazy antics
