jan 29: jeff tweedy of wilco @ the tabernacle. great singer/songwriter from a top alt.country band.
jan 30: anna kramer & tova rinah & some other band @ the earl. i love tova rinah. that’s all there is to it. she’s awesome & incredible & is the head of an extremely talented band. i’m just getting into anna kramer – she’s a kinda alt.country-ish singer on rob’s house records. they’re opening up with someone i’m not familiar with….

From an inside source, apparently Squirrel Nut Zippers consists of these original members: Katherine Whalen, Jimbo Mathis, Chris Phillips, Stu Cole, Je Widenhouse. I shall see you all at their show at Smith’s Olde Bar on Friday, February 9.
